Ideal for substrata sampling of macroinvertebrate organisms found in rivers, streams and lakes. The basket design allows you to use it in combination with natural materials such as rocks and sticks for colonization. Made of 1˝ square galvanized wire and measures 6-1/2˝ Dia. x 11˝L. The wire is coated with PVC to resist corrosion. One end is hinged and is tied with a nylon releasable tie while the other end is permanently fastened.
