Q  Why do I get error messages when I'm shopping?

A  Our web site is designed to operate on desktop and mobile devices using contemporary browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari). If you experience display irregularities or browsing errors, consider updating your browser to the newest version. Alternately you can contact our Customer Service staff for help placing an order, to answer questions about products, or to resolve any customer service issues.

Q  What is the best way to find products that are relevant to me?

A  We offer many ways to find the products that best suit your needs. You can use the Search at the top of each page to look for product names, common names, brands, or keywords. You may be able to improve your search results by narrowing or broadening your search.

In addition to Search, you can browse products by Category by selecting the Products menu at the top of each page.
Search Hints: 

  • Too Few Results: Be more general in your description, e.g.: GPS rather than X9.
  • Too Many Results: If your search returns too many items, try being more specific in your search phrase, such as Pole Pruner rather than Pruner, or by using Filters such as by brand, by price, or by product category. Filters are located on the left side of the Search Results page, or near the top of the page on a smart phone.
  • Search by Product Category: Use the Products menu in the upper left part of the header on this page or on the mobile menu..
  • Numeric Searches: If you entered a number, such as 6500, you may return unrelated items that are based on the Forestry Suppliers stock number. To avoid this, be more specific, such as Widget Model 6500, or by placing double quotes around numbers: "6500".

Q  How can I get a quotation for an upcoming order?

A  All you have to do is add the items that you want to your Cart. When you’re finished shopping, select View Cart, then click on the Request a Quote button.

Alternatively, if you already know the Forestry Suppliers stock numbers of the items you want, you can use the Quick Order option from the My Account menu at the top of the page or from the mobile Menu. From there, you can easily input your stock numbers, add them to your cart, and Request a Quote as described above.

If you have items you order regularly, consider saving your selection as an Equipment List that you can recall as often as you like. Look under the My Account menu and sign in to create an Equipment List.

Q  After adding items to my shopping cart, it is still empty.

A  In order for the web site to function, your browser must have “Cookies” enabled. See your browser help / documentation for instructions to enable Cookies.

Q  Do I have to register to place an order?

A  No. However, when you register you will have access to enhanced features, such as creating and editing personalized Equipment Lists, or viewing your Order History. Registered users can also opt-in to receive periodic web-only offers from Forestry Suppliers.

Q  Why do I get an error message when I submit my credit card?

A  Be certain to enter your credit card number without spaces, dashes or blanks. Also, check that your card has not expired and that the billing address is entered correctly.

Q  Can I cancel or add an item to an order while it is still processing?

A  Once an order has been placed online, the order cannot be modified through the web site. Please call Customer Service at 800-752-8460.

Q  Will I receive an email confirmation with my shipment tracking number?

A  After placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation. If the email is not in your Inbox, check your Junk or Spam folder in your email client.

If you still can't find the email, log on to Forestry Suppliers and go to the My Account menu. From there, select Order History, locate your order, and click on the Order Number. When the Order Summary is displayed, verify that the Order Status states that the items have been shipped, then click on the Invoice Number to display the Tracking Number(s).

Q  How do I change information on my account?

A  Log on to Forestry Suppliers online using the current email address associated with the account. From the My Account menu, select Edit User Profile. Your email address can be changed from the Edit Contact Information section of the Edit User Profile page. Be sure to click the Update button after making your changes.

Q  How do I change the password on my account?

A  Log on to Forestry Suppliers online using the current email address associated with the account. From the My Account menu, select Edit User Profile. Your password can be changed from the Change Password tab of the Edit User Profile page. Be sure to click the Update button after making your changes.
