Correlated to National Science Education Content Standards

The ideas and activities included in these Lesson Plans are intended for use in classrooms where an appreciation for a better understanding of the environmental and earth sciences is the focus of the core curriculum. It is not intended to be a substitute for a comprehensive environmental and earth sciences curriculum, but rather, complement the learning experiences of children in the recommended targeted grades indicated.

Each Lesson Plan is broken into sections for Background, Procedure and Further Studies, plus Rubric, Assessment and Content Standards Covered. A complete list of required and optional materials is also included, with links to take you directly to the product on the Forestry Suppliers web site.
