Hypsometers The internal electronic tilt sensor provides quick vertical angle measurements for easy determination of heights of trees and other objects. Housed in a rugged injection-molded plastic shell, the hypsometer/rangefinder offers simple, one-button operation. Using the red dot aiming system, simply aim at a reference point on the object to determine the distance to the reference point. Next, aim the instrument at the top of the object and then at the base to obtain an angle measurement. The height from the base to the top of the object is automatically calculated and displayed in feet, meters, or yards. Other features include: LED red dot sighting system, high tech hidden lens design, low battery indicator, and an easy-to-read, large LCD display. Completely eyesafe and conform to all provisions of US21 CRF 1040.1 (CDRH Class I Laser Product). Cordura carrying case included. Rangefinder Accurately measures distances in feet, meters, or yards quickly using an eye-safe laser. This economical, reliable rangefinder has simple, one-button operation.
