TruPulse 200 Rangefinder/Hypsometer with Bluetooth

With Bluetooth.

Compact and lightweight, TruPulse rangefinders/hypsometers allow you to view through the lens so that you can pinpoint the laser directly along your line of sight. And because measurements are displayed through the viewfinder, you never have to take your eyes off the target. The TruPulse can measure distances up to 3,280’ (1,000m) without a reflective target. Results are displayed in feet, yards, or meters. An integrated tilt sensor allows you to measure horizontal or vertical distance and calculate an object’s height instantly by using the built-in three-shot routine. The “Closest” operating mode distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, and the “Farthest” mode allows you to lock on the furthest target and shoot distant features through brush and foliage. “Continuous” mode provides constant updates while locking on multiple targets. The TruPulse also features a “Brush Filter” mode. The TruPulse diopter is adjustable for comfortable viewing – even for eyeglass wearers. The housing is IP 54 rated for water- and dust-resistance, and features an RS 232 serial port to download data. Includes carrying case, lens cloth, neck strap, and operating manual.

Unit is easy to carry and easy to use, but advertising it as "water resistant" is far from the truth. Ours was simply splashed with water while working in a stream, and it quit working.

Very good one! working in Costa Rica, try it for forest inventory and its much easier to measure big trees now. The only option it doesn´t have is the % steep scale.

Have used the laser for timber cruising on both the coast Redwood Region and inland Sierras. Quick and accurate works good in brush. A little sensitive to bumps and drops, needs to re-calibrate if dropped. Not to hard to recalibrate. Great product overall.
