The GRX2 GNSS receiver incorporates a GPS+GLONASS receiver and antenna, digital UHF II modem with HSPA, GSM/GPRS modem, Bluetooth® module, and detachable battery inside a compact and durable magnesium alloy body. The built-in GSM/GPRS modem allows you to use the GRX2 as a rover receiver for network RTK (Real Time Kinematic) positioning. In addition, use the GRX2 for both a private RTK base and RTK rover by utilizing the internal digital UHF modem without any additional device. The GRX2 also supports network RTK where correction data is broadcast via UHF radio. The GRX2’s scalable architecture maximizes your return on investment by allowing you to start with an L1 GPS receiver at a minimal initial cost and then upgrading to L1 GPS+GLONASS, L1/L2 GPS, or up to a 226-channel L1/L2 GPS+GLONASS receiver that utilizes superior dual constellation, dual frequency antenna technology. Voice messages alert you when RTK is fixed or lost or when other problems occur. These messages increase job site efficiency by eliminating repeated checks with the controller display. The GRX2 can be used along with a data collector (sold separately) for added convenience on the job site. Easy to use, the GRX2 features single-button operation for power, receiver reset, and memory initialization. The GRX2 also features 22 status LED indicators that are highly visible even in bright sunlight, data storage using SD/SDHC cards (cards not included), and IP67 dust/water protection.
