Coliform Test Kit

A simple five-tube method to indicate the presence or absence of Total Coliform Bacteria in drinking water. No incubation equipment required. Highly portable, no accessory labware required. Ideal test for well water and coliform breakthrough in distribution systems. Results compare favorably to five-tube MPN method. Includes five glass tubes marked at 10 ml level and containing one Coliform Test Tablet. Sterile water sampling bag with dechlorinating tablet is included for chlorine removal. Performs one test only. Results in 40 to 48 hours (24 hours if warm). One tube offers a minimum detection of 20 cells/100 ml sample. Five tubes (full kit) offer a minimum detection of 2 cells/100 ml sample.
