Hanna Instruments EPA Compliant Turbidity Meter
Specially designed for water quality measurements, this meter meets and exceeds the requirements of EPA Method 180.1 for wastewater and Standard Method 2130 B for drinking water. This microprocessor-based meter provides highly accurate measurements ranging from 0.00 to 1,000 NTU. The meter’s optical system consists of a tungsten filament lamp and two detectors (scattered and transmitted). As the light beam passes through the sample vial the meter’s microprocessor calculates the NTU value. Two-, three-, or four-point calibration (<0.1, 15, 100, and 750 NTU) can be done using the included standards, and complete GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) functions allow for traceability of calibration conditions. Built-in Fast Tracker™ capability lets you record the time and location of a specific measurement or series of measurements using iButton® tags placed at sampling sites. The meter logs up to 200 readings and features a backlit display. Includes five sample cuvettes and caps, calibration cuvettes, silicone oil, cleaning tissue, five iButton tag holders with tags, batteries, AC adapter, instruction manual, and carrying case.
