Archaeological North Arrow
Use this north arrow in photographs to show both orientation as well as metric scale (10 cm, 10 one cm and 1 five cm) in unit excavations. Made of 2” x 1/8” fiberglass, with hypotenuse and metric/standard conversions silk-screened on opposite side. Length: 10”.

The Forestry Suppliers archaeological north arrow has become the quintessential scaled north reference, as demonstrated by its use in countless modern archaeological survey and excavation reports. Well-constructed and durable, it will last many field seasons. The hypotneuse measurements and metric/English conversions on the underside are an added bonus. Don't expect the little rubber bumper pads to stay on the arrow if it sees any real field use.
Great for fieldwork, it is lightweight and works great for photos. Be sure to keep it in the cloth case, as the black "ink" can smear in extreme temperatures experienced in Arizona's summers.
