Gallon Jug, Tree Bandage Wound Dressing

A unique solution for trees with damaged limbs or trunks! Tree Bandage penetrates into the wound and forms a glassious covering that actually becomes part of the tree. Non-toxic and non-hazardous with zero VOC, the water-based formula will not harm the tree or bush. When applied, the silica in Tree Bandage forms a silicon dioxide (quartz) protective bandage. Only minutes after application, the bandage begins forming. Within a week, the bandage is usually completely hardened, allowing calluses to form over the wounded area. Immediately after trimming or pruning, apply Tree Bandage using a brush or sprayer (when treating large areas or shrubs). Two or three applications may be required to fully cover the wound area. Coverage is 100 square feet per gallon per coat.

In August of 2016, a random kid from my neighborhood decided to climb my 6 year old mimosa tree in my backyard. He stepped on a minor branch and the branch cracked at the trunk juncture. The branch was hanging on the ground that's how bad the crack was and it was about 16 inches long. I was determined I was not going to lose that branch because it hangs directly over my lawn in a critical area for shade. My husband and I used screws and zipties to put the branch back together and ropes tied to higher branches to support its weight. Luckily, I found this product online and applied it three different times within a month period. Here it is almost a year later and it is healed and can support its weight! This is an excellent product!

I have been using this product for 12 months with great results. Easy to use, fast application, clean and economical compared with similar products. I posted a YouTube video on it.

Product is very easy to apply. It's water based and is clear and odorless. The tree wounds I sealed seems to suck it right up. After it dried, the cut surface has only a faint sparkle to it.
