Diehard Ecto Root Dip, 15 oz. package

15 oz. package

Use these root dips to inoculate the bare roots of plants before planting. The root dips work in nearly all species except rhododendrons, azaleas, and laurels. DieHard™ Root Dip contains low host specificity endo- and ectomycorrhizae fungi. DieHard™ Ecto Root Dip contains ectomycorrhizae fungi only and is ideal for aspen, arborvitae, beech, birch, chestnut, fir hemlock, hickory, oak, pecan, pine, poplar, and spruce. Both root dips contain Horta-Sorb™ SM, a co-polymer gel which absorbs and holds water to keep plant roots from drying out. Also contain humic acids, biostimulants, beneficial bacteria, soluble sea kelp, and yucca plant extracts to promote rapid root development. Application: Mix a 15 oz. package of DieHard™ Root Dip with 10 gallons of water to treat 3,000 seedlings. Mix a 15 oz. package of DieHard™ Ecto Root Dip with 25 gallons of water to treat 10,000 seedlings.

Hello, I noticed that our bucket of root dip has been smelling worse and worse over the last few weeks. We keep the mixture in a 50 gallon garbage can in our tree cooler (35-40 degrees). It's been mixed for maybe a month now and I was wondering if it has an expiration date after it's been mixed.
