Ask a Question
This product can be used in the field for water quality monitoring. Recalibration is recommended each time the probes are changed. The solutions need to be fresh to maintain the best accuracy. Depending on use the solution can last up to one year. If the meter is used in dirty water applications it should be calibrated before each use. In relatively clean water the pH can be calibrated as infrequently as one week, conductivity one month, and DO needs to be calibrated before each use. The maintenance is similar to any other water quality device. The DO membrane caps will need to be replaced. The pH and Conductivity electrodes will also need to be replaced over time. The probes need to be stored properly. The instruction manual discusses calibration and maintenance techniques. Please view the manual by clinking on the documents tab.
