The flat spring will need to be threaded through the top hem of the net. I am right handed and prefer to take the net in my left and begin feeding the spring through the top of the hem with my right hand. When you get to where the spring needs to make a bend you will need to start using two hands. One to push the spring further through the net and the other to slide the back end of the net around the spring. You may need to press the spring against your stomach to help it form the loop. Once you have the net completely threaded onto the spring you will place the two ends of the spring into the hole in the end of the handle. You will want to have about a 1/2" of over hang on either side of the handle. Once the spring is properly placed in the handle tighten down the red wing nut and you are ready to go!
The depth of the net is 8".
