Q  Why do I get error messages when I'm shopping?

A  Our web site was designed to accommodate most common browsers like Internet Explorer, Netscape and AOL. The site functions best using browser versions 4.0 or higher. If your browser is not at least version 4.0, you should consider downloading an update now. If a problem persists you should e-mail us with details such as your browser type and what type of error message you are getting. We will try to help.

Q  Why do I get an error message when I submit my credit card?

A  Try entering your card number with no spaces or blanks.

Q  I'm not finding what I want when I search, how can I improve my search?

Our new search engine scans our site for product names, keywords or Forestry Suppliers' stock numbers, so you're not likely to have a problem. However, should you encounter an area with less than satisfying results, try narrowing or broadening your search. Click here to find this and other helpful search hints.

Q  How can I order quickly if I already know the stock number of the product I want to order?

A  Our new site features a Quick Order screen, which is available at any time. Just click the Quick Order button at the top of each page and you'll be taken to a screen to input your stock numbers and move you through the checkout process quickly and easily.

If you have a number of items you order regularly, you may want to save your selection as an Equipment List which you can recall as often as you like. Look under the Equipment List tab of the navigation bar on each page.

Q  Do I have to register to place an order?

A  Yes, we need to get your billing and shipping information. By having you register one time, we are able to store this information, so the next time you shop with us, we will have your information waiting for you! Also, only registered users can use the added functions of Quick Orders and Equipment Lists.

Q  I'm not familiar with Forestry Suppliers, Inc.  What's the best way to find products for me?

A  We suggest finding the market or industry that is the closest match for the type of work you do. Just run your mouse across the icons at the top right of every page to get a general idea of the industries. Click on one of the icons, and you will be presented with a listing of products that we carry for your area of expertise.

Q  My company requires me to get quotations before I place an order, how can I do this?

A  Visit the Request a Quotation page, located in the sub-menu under Account Options, and follow the directions to submit a quotation. We'll respond as quickly as possible.

Q  How do I open an open charge account with Forestry Suppliers, Inc.?

A  When checking out, one of your payment options will be "Open a Charge Account with Forestry Suppliers" Click on this as your payment option and you will be taken to a screen, which will ask for credit information such as a bank reference and three current credit references. After submitting this form you'll need to submit your order. We'll notifiy you via e-mail on the status of your account application. An Open Charge Account application is also available in the sub-menu of the Account Options tab at the top of each page.
